Hanigan had a big evening at the plate. He quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam (his 6th of the season) in the 4th inning and doubled in the 6th inning. Kansas City managed 12 hits in their victory. Burnett(7-18) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Scott Kazmir(2-17) was charged with the loss. He allowed 3 hits and 6 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings. ST. Brian Giles stepped into the box and drew a walk to load the bases. Mark Teixeira continued the rally and laced a base-knock. Teixeira took second on the throw. St. Louis had 10 hits for the night. The big moment was provided by Jesus Flores who made the crowd happy when he smacked a single bringing in two baserunners. Texas managed 10 hits in their victory.
