Kansas City knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 5 runs in 4 innings. Montreal finished with 7 hits while Detroit ended up with 4. The winning pitcher was Luzardo(3-1) who allowed 1 run in 7 innings. The loss was charged to Quinn Priester(2-3). Harper was jubilant after the game 'Let me see a box-score' he joked, 'I want to see how that game looks on paper.' It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 5 times. Shane Bieber(2-0) was the winner allowing 8 runs in 6 innings. Bieber got relief help from Robert Suarez who gained credit for his 9th save. Clayton Beeter(0-1) suffered the loss in relief. 'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Bieber, 'I got burned on a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'

Corey Seager who silenced the stadium when he bombed a two-run dinger.
Overall Philadelphia out-hit Boston 10 to 4.  
 
Nelson(4-1) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 8 innings. The losing
pitcher was Jack Perkins(3-3).  He was touched for 8 hits and 2 walks in 4
innings.

brought home a run in the 9th inning.  Toronto had 13 hits for the game and
