The St. Louis Cardinals nipped the Atlanta Braves 5 to 4 at Turner Field in a
hard fought contest.
 
St. Louis brought 4 runs across the plate in the top of the 6th inning with
the help of 6 hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Geovany Soto who
silenced Turner Field as he ripped a base-knock bringing in two baserunners.
St. Louis rapped out 8 hits for the night.  
 
The win was credited to Derek Lowe(2-0) who went 6 innings allowing 3 runs.
Joe Nathan got the save, his 4th.  Roy Oswalt(0-1) was the loser.
