Hall of Fame · 2012Jeff played for multiple managers in his illustrious career but enjoyed the most success with longtime San Francisco manager Cory Adams. Jeff hit 87 of his career HR’s with Adams 2001-2003 Giants teams and in 2001 enjoyed his best season when he hit .301 34 HR, 126 RBIs and had a .404 OBP. Jeff only had one taste of championship gold and that came in the 1999 season with the Detroit Tigers while being managed by Steve Marker. Overall Kent hit 284 HR (most all time at his position by 106 HR), 883 RBI’s (most all time at his position by 272 RBIs) and had a .275 lifetime batting average (8th all time). Jeff will enter the HOF as a San Francisco Giant. Congratulations go to Jeff and manager Adams.
